The Oldest Game Is A Lying Game is a game that feels like a sunny winter's day, a wild bee in a honeycomb palace, paper lanterns at night, playing poker in a church, and a dandelion seed in the wind.

It is a game which concerns matters of fate, malleable histories, promised lands, and unfortunate truths, if you wish it to, and nothing of any import at all, should you wish for that instead.

It is an ephemeral game. It is a game you may well have played before. It is a game whose rules cannot be committed to paper. It may just be a lie—and yet, here it is.

The Oldest Game Is A Lying Game is a lyric game by Aster Lee-Guard. It is a game about stories and myth, and is ultimately something experimental. Like many lyric games it is perhaps something meant to be read rather than played. But seeing as it is a game, I feel obligated to tell you that to play you must bring one thing: a single d6, ideally your favourite one, for reasons enumerated in the text.

I like this. Especially the second-to-last page. Gives me brain thoughts.
